On July 27th, it was learned from CNOOC that China's independently developed seabed seismic exploration and acquisition equipment "Haimai" has been officially put into use in the Bohai Sea, marking a crucial step in China's high-end marine oil and gas exploration technology. It is of great significance to increase the intensity of marine oil and gas exploration and further improve the independent and controllable marine oil and gas exploration equipment system.

"Haimai" is a node mode seismic exploration and acquisition equipment independently developed and manufactured in China. It overcomes technologies such as high sensitivity detectors and ultra-low noise acquisition circuits, greatly improving the detection ability of weak signals. It can capture seismic wave signals equivalent to 1/150 of mosquito sound in a ten thousand meter formation, and based on this, depict high-definition oil and gas reservoir data information.
According to Ruan Fuming, a Chinese offshore oil technology expert, "Haimai" combines the comprehensive technical advantages of land exploration detectors and ocean hydrophones. It has the characteristics of small volume, flexible deployment, wide adaptability to water depth range, and high ultra-low frequency performance. Its acquisition ability is four times that of conventional cable towing mode, and its 2-hertz ultra-low frequency sensing ability reaches the highest level of similar products in the world. Like a "thousand mile eye", it can clearly see oil and gas reservoirs buried thousands of meters deep.

It is understood that as a key core equipment for marine oil and gas exploration and development, "Haimai" can meet the needs of seabed seismic exploration in China's main sea areas, further improving the accuracy of marine oil and gas reservoir exploration and the dynamic monitoring level of mature oilfield seabed reservoirs.
