Official ambush! Will "dog days" get hotter? Henan | Weather | High Temperature
Starting from July 11th, China officially entered the summer solstice, and the "three dog days" represent the hottest season of the year.
Since June, many parts of China have experienced extreme high temperatures, and many northern regions have experienced prolonged standby barbecue days. The highest temperatures in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and some parts of Shandong have exceeded local historical extremes.
With the arrival of the early summer, what is the weather situation in China in the later stage? Will the weather get hotter after the onset of summer?
"High temperature group chat" temporarily suspended in the north
Since mid to late June, the northern region has launched a strong "barbecue mode". The high temperature weather in Beijing Tianjin Hebei and other areas from June 21st to 24th is the strongest high temperature process in June in North China in the past 10 years. The highest daily temperature in Beijing Tianjin Hebei and northern Shandong reached 40-41 ℃, with a maximum value of 41.8 ℃.
The recent round of high temperatures in the north has been ongoing for 6 days since July 5th.
On July 11th, the first day after the onset of the summer, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange high-temperature warning. It is expected that during the day of July 11th, there will be high temperatures above 35 ℃ in the central and southern parts of North China, the northern and western parts of the Huanghuai River, Jianghan, the central and western parts of the Jianghuai River, Jiangnan, most of South China, as well as in the Sichuan Basin and central and southern Shaanxi; Among them, local areas in southern Hebei, northern Henan, central Zhejiang, southeastern Sichuan, and northeastern Yunnan can reach temperatures above 40 ℃.
However, due to the impact of precipitation, this round of high temperature weather in the north will be temporarily suspended. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from 08:00 on July 12 to 08:00 on July 13, moderate to heavy rain will occur in parts of southern Gansu, southern Shaanxi, southeast Inner Mongolia, western Liaoning, central and eastern Shanxi, western and northern Hebei, western Beijing, northern and western Henan, Shandong, northern Jiangsu and Anhui, western Sichuan Basin, northern and eastern Xizang, etc. With the increase in precipitation in North China, Huanghuai and other areas, the northern region will temporarily withdraw from the high temperature category.
For example, the highest temperature in Beijing, Tianjin, and Jinan will drop to around 30 ℃ on the 12th.
However, most parts of Jiangnan, South China, and other areas will continue to undergo "baking tests", with high temperatures ranging from 35 ℃ to 37 ℃ expected in the next week. The highest temperatures in some areas of Jiangnan can reach 38 ℃ to 40 ℃.
What is the weather like after the onset of summer?
The Sanfu days are divided into head fu, middle fu, and last fu. China entered the fu on July 11th and emerged on August 19th this year. The Sanfu days are still 40 days, marking the ninth consecutive year that China has experienced an extended version of the Sanfu days.
The three dog days, also known as midsummer, have long been predicted by the meteorological department for the weather conditions of this year's midsummer. The National Climate Center predicts that the temperature in North China and the Yellow and Huai Rivers will be higher this summer, accompanied by an increase in the number of hot days. Therefore, there is a high probability that the northern region will be hotter than usual this summer.
The Central Meteorological Observatory predicted that in July, the temperature in most parts of the country is expected to be close to the same period of the year to be higher, including central and western Inner Mongolia, western Liaoning, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, central and northern Shaanxi, northern Gansu, Ningxia, southern Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, most parts of Guangxi, Hainan, southwest Sichuan, southern Guizhou, Yunnan, eastern Xizang and other places will be 1 to 2 ℃ higher. The period of high temperature in the North China and Huanghuai regions is obvious.
Meteorologists said that during the first fall of this year, the high temperature in North China Plain and other places will first reduce and then develop, while some areas in the south will maintain a wide range of hot and muggy weather pattern. Parts of Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Xinjiang, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangxi, Hainan and other regions are prone to heatstroke during certain periods.
How to prevent high temperatures after entering the summer heat?
Sanfu is the hottest period of the year, and the public needs to take measures to prevent heatstroke, cool down, and pay attention to their physical health.
Experts suggest that heatstroke prevention and cooling should start from all aspects of clothing, food, housing, and transportation. Wear clothes that are easy to sweat, loose, lightweight and breathable, and wash and change frequently. The diet should be light, avoiding leftover food and vegetables, drinking a moderate amount of diluted salt water, and eating raw and cold food with caution. Increase nap time appropriately to ensure sufficient sleep, and do not let the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor be too large when turning on the air conditioning. Prevent fires caused by excessive electricity consumption and excessive power loads on wires, transformers, and other electrical components.
At the same time, avoid prolonged outdoor activities during high temperature periods, wear sun protection clothing, sunglasses, and drink plenty of water when going out. Under high temperature conditions, workers should take necessary protective measures, shorten continuous working hours, or stop outdoor operations.
