After the expiration of the probation period for the party members who have been punished by the party, the party branch where they are located shall promptly conduct a serious investigation on their actual performance during the probation period. if the investigation finds that they meet the conditions for restoring the rights of party members, they shall make a "publicity on the proposed restoration of the rights of comrade * * * party members" and publicize it in the unit and party branch where they are located. The publicity period is generally not less than 5 days, A party branch party member meeting should be held to discuss the restoration of the rights of party members. I shall not be absent from the meeting without justifiable reasons, and truthfully report his ideological understanding, work performance, discipline and law-abiding, honesty and self-discipline, and future plans during the party probation period. I should generally avoid voting at the party member meeting. After the party branch party member meeting discusses and forms a resolution, the party member meeting resolution and other materials shall be reported to the grassroots party committee where the party member meeting is located; if the grassroots party committee agrees to restore the rights of its party members on schedule after deliberation, it shall be reported to the next level of the party organization that originally made the party disciplinary decision.
