On the afternoon of the 17th, a delegation of teachers and students from mainland universities led by Professor Hao Ping, secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University, came to Taiwan Chengchi University to visit and exchange discussions with students of the school.
Taiwan Chengchi University is situated by the mountains and by the water, with beautiful scenery. As a well-known humanities and social science university in Taiwan, National Chengchi University is committed to promoting academic exchange and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait, and has signed cooperation and exchange agreements with multiple higher education institutions in mainland China, such as Peking University and Tsinghua University.
He said that educational exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits have long had a foundation. The University of Political Science has also established sisters schools with many mainland universities, and teachers and students come and go in an endless stream.

"A pot of turbid wine brings joy to each other." Chen Shuheng said that the visit of mainland Chinese teachers and students is of great significance as it carries on the past and opens up the future. He wishes the itinerary a smooth and successful journey, and allows the previously hindered cross-strait education exchange to continue.
Hao Ping's speech stated that exchanges and visits between college students are an important bridge and link for communication between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. I hope to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Chengchi University, enhance understanding, learn from each other, jointly cultivate talents, benefit society, and work together to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
He also hopes for more exchanges between young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, forming deeper friendships, enhancing emotions and family ties, building a "heart to heart bridge" between the two sides, and jointly creating the long-term well-being of the Chinese nation and sharing the great glory of national rejuvenation.

In his speech, Mr. Ma Ying jeou happily recalled the scene of visiting and worshipping ancestors in mainland China this spring, which was warmly welcomed by compatriots in the mainland. He stated that the visit of teachers and students from mainland universities this time is of great significance and hopes that young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait can have more exchanges and establish friendship.
Mainland Chinese teachers and students listened to the introduction of the East Asian Research Institute of National Chengchi University and visited campus facilities such as the Daxian Library. During the student discussion session between the two schools, both sides engaged in Q&A sessions on Taiwan's youth baseball training and the atmosphere of university sports. They had frank exchanges and lively interactions, with occasional heartfelt laughter during the session. After the meeting, the students from the two schools also exchanged contact information, and the online exchange was not over.

At the National Chengchi University Gymnasium, Ding Ning, the head of the mainland student team and Olympic champion, competed with the table tennis team of the university, patiently guiding the receiving, serving, and dribbling techniques, attracting Taiwanese fans to come and cheer.

Two contestants from National Chengchi University, along with Ding Ning and Fudan University student Zhuang Yezhao, formed teams to play doubles. Both teams had their ups and downs, and occasional mistakes also earned encouragement from students from both sides of the field. At the end of the competition, Ding Ning said that sports communication is not about level, but about participation, which is the meaning of sports. "I hope to have more interaction and exchange of ping pong skills with Taiwanese classmates."
A group of 37 teachers and students from mainland universities arrived in Taiwan on the 15th for an exchange visit. During their stay in Taiwan, they will also communicate with Chinese Culture University, National Taiwan University, Donghua University and other universities.
