On July 3rd, according to a comprehensive report by China News Agency, "Twitter has collapsed!" Recently, thousands of users reported problems while using social media Twitter: they received an error message reminding them to exceed the "speed limit", violated Twitter's rules, downloaded and viewed too many tweets - this is due to Musk's latest reform of the social media.
Nearly a year after the acquisition, Musk's reform of Twitter is still ongoing. He recently announced that he will limit users' daily tweet views to avoid companies using artificial intelligence models from "data scraping and system manipulation" of Twitter.

Image Musk posted, "To address extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation, we have implemented temporary restrictions such as: authenticated accounts can only read 6000 posts per day, unverified accounts can read 600 posts per day, and new unverified accounts can read 300 posts per day."
Previously, Musk had expressed dissatisfaction with AI companies crawling Twitter data and using tweets for research or training AI programs.

He also tweeted that hundreds or even more organizations are "extremely active" in crawling Twitter data, "which affects the real user experience," but Musk has not yet stated how long the restrictions will last or under what conditions they will be lifted.
After the decision to limit daily views was announced, popular tags such as "# Goodbye Twitter" and "# Rip Twitter" appeared on Twitter.

Some users have expressed that if the restrictions continue, they will abandon Twitter and instead use other social media.
Musk quickly reacted to the picture. Just a few hours after announcing the initial limit, he also posted that the limit had been raised to 8000 verified accounts, 800 unverified accounts, and 400 new unverified accounts. On the same day, the limit was again raised to 10000 views, 1000 views, and 500 views, respectively.

Since Musk took over Twitter and made significant layoffs, Twitter's drastic changes have led some users to try other similar social media websites.
The recent "traffic restriction" operation has once again caused dissatisfaction among some users of the platform, questioning why their online activities have been significantly reduced.

Some netizens even erected a "tombstone" for Twitter in the comment section of Musk's tweet, indicating that "Twitter is dead.".
A netizen in the picture urged, "Please correct this mistake. You used to make no decisions when voting, why do you have to make such a big decision alone now? Why don't you organize an investigation?"

However, some netizens also welcomed this and said, "On behalf of all Twitter users, I declare that this is a good idea! These measures can ensure data protection while promoting a fair online environment. Thank you to the team for taking proactive measures."
Jack Dorsey, co-founder and former CEO of Image Twitter, later expressed his views on this matter, saying, "Running Twitter is very difficult. I don't want anyone to be under this pressure. I believe this team is doing their best under huge constraints. It's easy to criticize these decisions from afar... I also feel guilty about it... but I know their goal is to see Twitter prosper. It will."
