On July 5th, Zhejiang held the first provincial-level conference on high-quality development of platform economy in China. The State Administration for Market Regulation and Zhejiang Province have signed a strategic cooperation agreement on jointly promoting the high-quality development of the platform economy.
On July 12th, a high-level platform enterprise symposium was held. On the same day, the official WeChat account of the National Development and Reform Commission released a batch of typical cases of platform enterprises supporting technological innovation and traditional industry transformation, and stated that they will support platform enterprises to play a more active role in leading development, creating employment, and international competition.
These messages converge and once again convey a signal of central support for the healthy and orderly development of the platform economy. In the past three years, the platform economy has undergone industry reforms. Nowadays, the industry is presenting a new face and new atmosphere, and the development of platform economy has entered a new critical period.
The platform economy hopes for a "reassuring pill" that is transparent and predictable. If expectations are unstable, confidence is unstable.
