On July 3rd, the No.1 Bridge Police Station of the Wenquan Public Security Bureau in Xianning City, Hubei Province received a report from a parent of a student, reporting that their daughter, who was in elementary school, had her phone card replaced by a stranger at the end of June using a phone watch to make calls.
On July 4th, police officers from the No.1 Bridge Police Station arrested two individuals involved in fraud in a hotel in Hot Springs.
After interrogation, the two confessed that they had been scamming four phone cards from multiple students at the entrance of a primary school in Wenquan since June 26th, and using the scammed phone cards to impersonate logistics customer service to make fraudulent phone calls. Currently, they have illegally profited more than 4000 yuan.

On the morning of August 2nd, at a venue in Yangxin County, Huangshi City, Liu and Shi borrowed their phone watches from a primary school student who was exercising there, using the excuse of borrowing a phone watch to make a phone call. They took advantage of the student's carelessness and stole the phone card inside their watch.

At around 8 o'clock that evening, Liu and Shi, two thieves, were arrested.
Fraud prevention reminder
1. Children should not lend their phones or watches without the company of their parents or teachers. Adults really need it and won't ask children for help.
2. If a phone card is stolen or robbed, you should immediately contact the mobile phone operator to report the lost account, cancel the stolen phone card, and report to the police in a timely manner to prevent criminals from taking advantage of it.
Parents, please tell your children not to lend their phones, watches, etc. to strangers easily! Some criminals may take advantage of the helpful character of children, borrow phones, watches, and then take the opportunity to exchange their phone cards. The stolen phone card will be used by criminals to form GOIP devices and connect with overseas fraud gangs to make a large number of fraudulent phone calls, committing illegal and criminal activities.
The cards in a child's phone watch are usually the secondary cards of the parent's phone card. If the operator identifies any abnormalities in the secondary card, the main card will be shut down and added to the defect library.
