Since February 8th this year, China's express delivery business has exceeded 10 billion pieces, with monthly express delivery business increasing by 10 billion pieces. In 28 days, the express delivery business volume increased from 10 billion to 20 billion pieces, 30 billion pieces in 29 days, from 30 billion to 40 billion pieces in 28 days, and 50 billion pieces in 27 days. It only took 24 days to reach 60 billion pieces from 50 billion pieces.

Since June, multiple e-commerce platforms across the country have successively launched mid year promotional activities, driving a new round of growth in express delivery business volume. According to data from the National Postal Administration, during the e-commerce promotion period from June 1st to June 18th, the daily average business volume of express delivery exceeded 400 million pieces, further expanding the market size.

At the Sichuan Pepper Base in Xianfeng Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing, fresh Sichuan peppers are picked by villagers early in the morning and directly sent to the cold storage next to the planting base for pre cooling, sorting, and packaging. And less than 100 meters away from the cold storage, express delivery companies have set up cold chain logistics collection points, which can be transported to various parts of the country by logistics cold chain vehicles on the same afternoon.

In the context of a large volume of express delivery business, in order to ensure timely delivery to consumers, express delivery companies are vigorously improving their digital operation level, optimizing transit and delivery processes, and improving delivery service efficiency in multiple ways.
