Xue Yusheng, an 82 year old academician of the CAE Member independently trained by NARI Group, has been engaged in the research of power system stability theory and power system automation since his doctoral degree in 1985. In his view, the "novelty" of the new power system lies in the need to adaptively respond to the uncertain states and events in various related fields, as well as meet the multi-objective optimization needs of different fields, etc. This requires us to carry out a lot of source innovation work, one by one to overcome difficulties.
However, the process of scientific research and development is arduous, not only requiring one to sit on a cold bench, but also sometimes facing industry criticism. Xue Feng, Chief Expert of State Grid Corporation of China and Director of the System Protection Laboratory of Nanrui Group, joined Xue Yusheng's team in 1992. Nowadays, the WARMAP system developed by Xue Yusheng's team has covered over 90% of provincial-level power grids in China, establishing a comprehensive advantage in the field of power outage warning systems for large power grids.

Jin Yulong takes large-scale commercial complexes as an example, and during the peak electricity consumption period in summer, remote control can be achieved at the minute or second level through the virtual power plant controller. By raising the temperature of the central air conditioning by 2-3 degrees Celsius, the peak load can be effectively reduced and the safe supply of electricity can be guaranteed.
"If more buildings and factories can be aggregated, the potential of existing electricity can be better released without building new power plants, ensuring the safety of the power grid." Jin Yulong said that the team has basically formed a relatively mature virtual power plant solution, and the related achievements have been demonstrated and applied in Jiangsu, Shanxi, Ningxia and other places.
It is understood that as a leader in the youth scientific research group, he received equity incentives last year.

"Our first production line took a year and a half from design to operation. The new production line here is expected to complete equipment production, installation, and commissioning within six months, and will start production around next year's Spring Festival." Duan Huiyuan admitted that the mature local industrial chain "ecosystem" has greatly accelerated the pace of enterprise development.
