Ministry of National Defense: Urge the Japanese side to stop interfering with the formation of ships with no practical significance
On the afternoon of August 14th, Colonel Wu Qian, Director of the Information Bureau of the Ministry of National Defense and spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, released information on recent military related issues.
Wu Qian: According to the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian militaries, the naval fleets of the two countries will conduct joint maritime patrols in the relevant waters of the western and northern Pacific Ocean. This action is not aimed at third parties and has nothing to do with the current international and regional situation. During the cruise, the ships of both China and Russia strictly abide by international law and navigate the entire high seas. Close range tracking and surveillance by the Japanese side is very dangerous and can easily lead to misunderstandings, misjudgments, and accidents in the sea and air. We urge the Japanese side to stop these meaningless interferences, stop irresponsible words and actions that affect the healthy development of bilateral relations between China and Japan, and damage regional peace and stability.

It should be pointed out that the cooperation between the Chinese and Russian militaries is open and transparent, aimed at jointly defending international fairness and justice, and maintaining world and regional security and stability. It is completely different from some countries that hold a Cold War mentality, engage in camp confrontation, and engage in hegemonic practices everywhere.
