According to Mao Ning, this year marks the 70th anniversary of the ceasefire in the Korean War. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the ceasefire, the highest leader of North Korea, Comrade Kim Jong un, visited the Chinese People's Volunteer Army Martyrs Cemetery in Hyeongcang to express his high respect to the martyrs. This not only shows that the North Korean Party, government, and people highly value the great achievements of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army, but also reflects the inheritance and development of traditional friendship between China and North Korea in the new historical period.
Mao Ning emphasized that China and North Korea are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. Continuously consolidating and developing China North Korea relations is in line with the common interests of both sides and also conducive to promoting peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the region.
