Min Ang Lai continues to serve as the Prime Minister, and the Myanmar National Management Council reorganizes the Federal Government Constitution | Myanmar National Management Council | Government
On the evening of the 3rd, the Myanmar National Management Commission issued an order stating that in order to implement the roadmap and goals set by the commission more quickly and effectively, the federal government will be reorganized in accordance with relevant provisions of the constitution. The reorganized federal government will continue to be led by Min Ang Lai as the Prime Minister of the country.
Subsequently, the Myanmar National Management Council also issued multiple orders, involving the appointment of officials from multiple institutions such as the Chief Justice of the Federation and the President of the Federal Constitutional Court.
On the evening of the 2nd, the Myanmar National Management Council issued an order announcing that the committee would be reorganized according to the constitution, and Min Ang Lai would continue to serve as the Chairman of the National Management Council. The reorganized committee members have been reduced from 20 to 18. At the same time, the committee also approved the resignation and transfer of some members and institutional officials.
In February 2021, Myanmar's President Win Min, State Councilor Aung San Suu Kyi, and some senior officials of the National League for Democracy were detained by the military. Subsequently, Myanmar declared a one-year state of emergency, and the National Defense Force Headquarters established a National Management Committee, with Defense Force Commander in Chief Min Ang Lai serving as the chairman of the committee. Myanmar has since extended the national state of emergency multiple times, with Min Ang Lai serving as the Chairman of the National Management Committee and Prime Minister.
