Wang Yu, who is 55 years old this year, is the third generation inheritor of the Zhen embroidery workshop. In her childhood memories, the hands of her mother and elder sister were always playing with the yarn. Due to the influence of family culture since childhood, Wang Yu fell in love with this folk embroidery and drawing technique. After starting work in 1990, Wang Yu worked at a foreign trade embroidery factory. In 1996, after the restructuring of the enterprise, Wang Yu started his own business and founded Tianjin Huadu Tufting Craft Products Co., Ltd. in 2000.
In Wang Yu's words, it is precisely because of the accumulation in the previous decades that we were able to attract the attention of the audience at this exhibition.
Wang Yu introduced that the drawing technique was developed on the basis of the Four Famous Embroideries. The Four Famous Embroideries lay threads on the fabric, and the overall process is "addition". "The techniques are very complex, but the resulting product does not have a bright red or green color, and the style is very elegant."
