On the evening of September 2nd, due to the continuous heavy rainfall caused by Typhoon "Sula", the water level of a river in Zhuyuan Village, Guding Town, Maoming City, Guangdong Province skyrocketed, trapping people in the river. Firefighters responded to the report and urgently mobilized for rescue. It is understood that the trapped man was trapped in the middle of the river due to a sudden surge in water level on his way home, about 30 meters away from the shore, and the water flow was very turbulent. Due to the rapid flow of water at the scene, rubber boats were unable to be used for rescue. After ensuring safety, rescue personnel took the method of wading across the water to reach the center of the river. They put on life jackets and helmets for the trapped man, and under the guidance of shore rescue personnel, they successfully rescued the trapped person to the shore.
