On July 6th, when talking about the recent riots in France, Macron expressed his emotions and told the public representatives: we have all experienced a moment that has had a significant impact on national life. I don't understand French, but "la concorde" should mean harmony. The famous Place de la Concorde in Paris uses this word.
Macron should have felt it. The recent nationwide riots in France have shocked him as the president and also shocked the whole world.
At least two shocks.
The first shock. The French love to protest, and the whole world knows it, but what everyone doesn't know is that this time the scene was so serious, not only burning cars and robbing shopping malls, but later even burning libraries and robbing police stations.
Where is the rule of law? Where is the order?
The second shock. Unexpectedly, minors are the main force of the riot. The French police arrested nearly 4000 people, with an average age of 17, many of whom were still underage children who took to the streets to fight, smash, and rob.

Macron told the public opinion representatives that he believed the French, like everyone else, were "first shocked" and then "aware of the seriousness of violence.".

So, in his view, France now not only needs order, but also calmness, and building a harmonious society is very important.
It seems that harmony is not exclusive to us Chinese people, but a common pursuit of many countries.

The nationwide turmoil in France is an undeniable fact that there are serious shortcomings in social harmony in France.
I mentioned in my article yesterday that Rome was not built in a day. The trigger for this incident was the French police shooting a 17-year-old North African boy, followed by nationwide protests and riots, exposing a series of deep-seated problems in France.
1. The issue of racial discrimination, otherwise, there wouldn't be so many immigrants and their descendants complaining.
2. The problem of unemployment and poverty, otherwise, there wouldn't be so many young people idle and venting their dissatisfaction.
3. The issue of drug trafficking, otherwise the Paris police would not have told Macron that drug dealers are more effective than police.
4. The issue of family education, otherwise Macron wouldn't have shouted to parents to take care of their children
However, from the current perspective, harmonious society and harmonious development are still difficult for France.
