Liangshan Girl Responds to Doubts of Speculation, Zhejiang University Deposits 160000 RMB Over Four Years and Guarantees Graduate Education in Tsinghua News | Public | Liangshan
Recently, He Siyi, a 20-year-old girl from Liangshan, Sichuan, entered the public eye due to her experience of going against the sky, which has sparked heated discussions among the public——
I entered Zhejiang University with a bare score for my undergraduate studies and was recommended as a graduate student. I was also admitted to several higher education institutions such as Tsinghua and Fudan, with a four-year deposit of 160000 yuan.
Some netizens gave her a thumbs up: "Mom talks about other people's children," and some netizens questioned her experience, believing that she used "Liangshan" to attract attention and question its hype.
On July 12th, Jiupai News contacted He Siyi herself. The following is a conversation between Jiupai News and her.
He Siyi Nine School News: Do you think you are a "small town journalist?
He Siyi: I don't think I'm a "small-town swot". My high school is not the school where people imagine being immersed in practicing and solving problems. Our English teacher will lead us to do voice acting, play plays, and participate in different competitions. We have many opportunities to study abroad and participate in summer camps at Peking University and Tsinghua University.
These experiences allowed me to see a bigger world, which also influenced my experiences after going to college. In college, I specifically participated in the dragon boat team and represented the school in competitions to win awards.

Jiupai News: It is said online that you saved 160000 yuan during your four-year undergraduate studies. How did you save so much money?
He Siyi: Every month in college, my parents will provide living expenses, and the school will issue some scholarships. In addition to purchasing various financial products, there are also tutoring, part-time jobs, internships, and more. Occasionally, I would also do some small business, such as selling some agricultural products that helped my hometown Liangshan before at school, but the results were not very ideal, so I stopped.
Slowly, I saved up some money. But some large expenses, such as tuition fees and dental expenses, are mainly paid by parents.
Actually, saving money is really not easy. Sometimes I may do two or three part-time jobs a week, and the journey from school to there is very long, almost every time I have to take the subway for one or two hours.
He Siyi Jiupai News: After her deeds have been fermented online, what reviews have she received from netizens?
He Siyi: I have received many messages on various social media platforms, including my classmates asking me. There are many voices of praise here, but in addition, they have also received many negative reviews. My own science is news, but I never expected to receive so many negative reviews because of such a news.
Some comments are very harsh, even thinking that some of my savings are obtained through illegal transactions, which makes me quite uncomfortable with this kind of "yellow rumor".

Nine Faction News: How did you respond to these doubts?
He Siyi: Many responses, including doubts, are completely baseless. I have a clear conscience, there is no need to let baseless malicious speculations affect my life.
For the personal questions that everyone asks a lot, I have made a concentrated response on my personal social media account. For some extremely malicious remarks, I have also taken screenshots for evidence. If necessary, I reserve the right to pursue legal responsibility. Nine Faction News: What are the future plans and plans?
He Siyi: In the future, I want to see if I am suitable for academic research. If suitable, I may continue to pursue a PhD. If it is not suitable, it may also affect the hometown as much as possible through selection, business, or other directions.
