Li Shangfu Attends 11th Moscow International Security Conference Taiwan | China | 11th
The 11th Moscow International Security Conference was held on August 15th, and Chinese State Councilor and Defense Minister Li Shangfu attended and delivered a speech at the conference.
The Global Security Initiative carries the longing for world peace, the expectation for harmonious coexistence, and the pursuit of common development. China looks forward to working together with other countries to implement global security initiatives and inject more stability and positive energy into the ever-changing world.
Li Shangfu said that the Chinese military is a steadfast force in maintaining world peace. We are willing to continuously strengthen military security strategic mutual trust and practical cooperation in various professional fields with the armies of various countries, jointly build a security cooperation platform, and make new and greater contributions to maintaining global security.
During the meeting, Li Shangfu held talks with Russian Defense Minister Shoigu to exchange views on military relations and cooperation between the two countries. He also held bilateral meetings with defense departments and military leaders of countries such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam.
