"Let's Go Home" - The last batch of stranded passengers on the Beijing Fengsha Railway were transported and heard of, "Traveling to Beijing | Xie Han | Mentougou District | Passengers"
The continuous heavy rainfall in Beijing has caused serious water damage to multiple railway sections located in Mentougou District. The K396, Z180, and K1178 trains have been trapped in Mentougou District, leaving stranded passengers waiting to be transferred.
On August 2nd at 12:00, the reporter followed an emergency rescue team composed of the Beijing Mobile Third Brigade of the People's Armed Police, the Beijing Fire Rescue Department, and the Mentougou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. They departed from the Xiehejian Railway Station in Mentougou District, walked 14 kilometers on a mountain road, and advanced to Anjiazhuang Village, where Z180 train passengers were stranded.

Continuous heavy rainfall, high humidity in the Mentougou mountainous area, and high temperatures at noon. Standing on the roadside for a moment, many people will sweat profusely.
Each armed police soldier carries around 30 kilograms of rescue supplies, with a blue relief backpack containing a box of mineral water, as well as several packages of ham sausages, bread and other supplies.

After the rescue team assembled at Xiehejian Railway Station, they maneuvered along the Fengsha Railway towards Anjiazhuang Village. After a 40 minute walk, the rescue team arrived at the entrance of Tunnel 4.
There is a suspended railway about 20 meters high and 30 meters long caused by a landslide between tunnels 3-4. In order to ensure safety, on-site railway repair workers constantly remind rescue teams to control the speed and number of people passing through. Walking on the suspended railway, one can clearly feel the vibration of the railway.

It takes 14 kilometers of mountain road from Xiehejian Railway Station to Anjiazhuang Village, crossing 7 tunnels, and crossing the Yongding River several times. Usually, this journey takes five to six hours. The advance armed police soldiers arrived at Anjiazhuang Village in two and a half hours.
On the way, the armed police soldiers sometimes briskly walked and sometimes ran.
"A team of 200 people arrived in Fangshan at 1:00 am on July 31 to deal with the flood. On August 1 at 2:00 am, they transferred to the Manshui Bridge on the Yongding River in Mentougou, and on August 2 at noon, they carried supplies to transport stranded passengers." Political Commissar Wei Ping of the Mobile Third Brigade of the Beijing Armed Police Headquarters told reporters.
After arriving at Anjiazhuang Village, the rescue team communicated with the on-site staff of China Railway Group and learned that there are still the last batch of 184 passengers stranded here, most of whom are key passengers such as the elderly, children, and pregnant. After an hour of rest, the transfer operation officially began. At 15:30, armed police officers and stranded passengers walked along the railway towards the 7th tunnel 5 kilometers in front of Luopo Ridge Railway Station.
A team of over 500 people, including elderly, young, pregnant, medical and rescue personnel, silently marched along the railway line like a long dragon. Due to being stranded for several days, the passengers were quite tired and the procession was very quiet.

To ensure the safety of special passengers on the stretcher, eight armed police soldiers carried the stretcher assembled with a marching bed and thick wooden sticks, and the two groups of soldiers took turns replacing each other. In some areas of the tunnel, there is severe dripping, and when passengers pass by, they are carefully covered with plastic bags by armed police soldiers to avoid getting wet.
On the way, Ms. Zhai, who is in her 70s, said, "When I was young, my eyes were injured and my retina was detached. After wearing glasses, my vision was only 0.3. If it weren't for the armed police soldiers who have been with me all along, I wouldn't have been able to walk out."
Passing through the railway bridge over the Yongding River and facing the rolling water, the child in the arms of the armed police soldier said, "Uncle, I'm a bit scared."
"Don't look at the water, look behind. How many people are there behind?" said the armed police soldier.
"A lot, I can see a lot of people," the child said.

When passing through the tunnel, the lighting flashlight and mobile phone flash are turned on simultaneously, like tiny stars illuminating the pitch black path forward.
"There is standing water ahead, walk on the left." "Be careful of slippery roads"... When encountering situations such as tunnel water accumulation, some people in the walking team ahead will occasionally remind people behind to pay attention to safety.
There is a deep trench about 20 meters deep and 30 meters wide between the front double tracks of Tunnel 7, with a slope gradient of about 60 degrees. On the downhill section, armed police soldiers form two human walls to allow passengers to pass through and avoid falling. On the uphill section, rescue personnel such as armed police soldiers help climb the slope.

At 8 pm, the sky gradually darkened. After exiting Tunnel 7, you can see the lights of the connecting work train from a distance. "The first time I felt the train lights so friendly," someone sighed.
Starting from 8:30 pm, key passengers, other stranded passengers, and rescue personnel will board the connecting operation train from Tunnel 7 to Tunnel 3 in three batches.
