The Kremlin stated, "The President listened to reports from the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Grasimov, commanders from all directions, and other senior military officers."
Subsequently, the Kremlin released a video clip of Putin inspecting the command center. The screen was broadcasted on the "Russia 24" news channel program.
The report said that Putin arrived at the command center by car and was greeted by Grasimov. The President and Chief of the General Staff went to the command post, and Sergei Rutskoi, Director of the Operations Department and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff, reported to Putin: "Comrade Supreme Commander, designated level officers have been summoned to attend the work meeting."
