The suspect has been arrested by the police and is currently investigating his criminal motive. The victim's face and chest were attacked several times. The fire department found the victim unconscious and sent them to the hospital, where the injured person is undergoing surgery.
On the 4th, South Korean police received a report that a man with a knife was wandering near a bus stop in southern Seoul. According to eyewitnesses, the man "became violent and seemed to want to harm himself with a kitchen knife.". After rushing to the scene, the police did not find any casualties and have arrested the man.
According to South Korean Radio International, on the afternoon of the 3rd, a random homicide occurred at the Baihuo Shopping Mall in Puntang District, Seongnam City, Gyeonggi do, South Korea. The 23-year-old suspect, Cui, drove a car towards a pedestrian road before committing the crime, intentionally hitting a pedestrian and then injuring someone with a knife in a department store.

Busan West Station has also become a target of the threat of violence. Someone posted that an attack will be carried out at the west station of Busan on the 5th. This person said, "I will take the murder weapon and go to the West Station to kill everyone.".
The Busan police have stated that they are currently investigating the relevant users in response to the threatening remarks. The Busan Town Police Station held a countermeasures meeting in the early morning of the 4th and decided to deploy mobile teams and criminal police personnel in the west station area to increase vigilance.
