The Global High end Forum on Human Rights Governance, co hosted by the State Council Information Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Agency for International Development and Cooperation, was held in Beijing from June 14th to 15th. At the forum, the attending guests delved into the important significance of the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative in promoting the development and progress of international human rights.
"The Global Development Initiative is committed to building a world of common prosperity, and developing countries support the initiative in playing an important role." Natalie Carolina Berios, a human rights and international law expert at the Multilateral Organizations Department of the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the Global Development Initiative creates a platform for policy dialogue and coordination for development cooperation. Venezuela supports this initiative and has joined the Group of Friends of the Global Development Initiative.
"The global security initiative proposed by China is fully in line with the latest global trends," said Checheibayev Elmyk Kanatovich, Deputy Director of the National Strategic Research Institute directly under the President of Kyrgyzstan. As a founding member of the United Nations and a permanent member of the Security Council, China has always participated in United Nations human rights affairs with a responsible attitude, actively integrated into the global human rights governance system, and worked hard to promote the healthy development of the international human rights cause.
"Adhering to the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter is extremely important for the international community to achieve human rights governance." Liu Xinsheng stated that countries should support developing countries in participating in global governance, explore ways to promote democratization and the rule of law, and promote the healthy development of global human rights governance. "China has continuously made positive contributions and provided important solutions to the development of international human rights, winning the support and welcome of the international community, especially developing countries."
