According to a search by Jimu News reporters, many accounts reposted videos posted by netizen "Guangdong Fisherman Brother" on a short video platform on August 24th. When "Guangdong Fisherman Brother" released the video, he did not specify the time and location. Other accounts should have inferred that the incident occurred in Guangdong based on the word "Guangdong" in his username. It is worth noting that "Guangdong Fisherman Brother" released the video on the morning of August 24th, while Japan officially began discharging nuclear wastewater on the afternoon of August 24th, which means that the above video is definitely unrelated to nuclear wastewater.
On August 25th, Jimu News contacted "Guangdong Fisherman Brother" to inquire about the time and location of the video shooting, but did not receive any response. However, a netizen named "Dian Xiaobai" from Maoming, Guangdong told Jimu News that he was the first author of the aforementioned video, which had been posted as early as 2021. Unexpectedly, it was recently stolen and posted online.

Jimu News reporters searched for the short video platform account of "Dianxiaobai" and found that its account had previously posted a similar video on December 23, 2021. After comparison, it was found to be a mirror version of the video posted by "Guangdong Fisherman Brother". However, the video footage released by "Guangdong Fisherman Brother" is a few seconds longer than the video released by "Dianxiaobai".

The "Dianxiaobai" explained that their company is engaged in e-commerce and has business in Guangdong and Guangxi. The original video was filmed by a colleague at Fangchenggang Beach in Guangxi in 2021, and he uploaded the video in October of that year. But due to some issues with the copy, he was asked by the platform to adjust it, so he deleted the video and re edited and released it in December 2021, resulting in a few seconds missing. And the reason why these sea shrimp appeared on the beach at that time was because the farmers poured water into the shrimp pond, and many shrimp ran out. "Dianxiaobai" said that he did not expect the video to be stolen and maliciously hyped. He has already complained to the platform about this matter and is waiting for the result of the handling.
Jimu News reporters noticed that at around 4:40 pm on the 25th, the above-mentioned video could no longer be seen on the account of "Guangdong Fisherman Brother".
