According to Agence France Presse on June 24th, the UK Ministry of Defense announced on the same day that the Royal Air Force's Typhoon fighter jet had intercepted 21 Russian Air Force military aircraft at the edge of NATO airspace during missions in Estonia over the past three weeks.

The UK Ministry of Defense stated that the intercepted Russian military aircraft included fighter jets, transport planes, electronic reconnaissance planes and other types of military aircraft, as well as Tu-22M3 long-range strategic bombers.
British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace declared in a communique, "These interception actions vividly remind us of the value of collective defense and deterrence provided by NATO." He said, "The Royal Air Force has been working with our NATO allies in the past three weeks to ensure that member countries and our partner countries are protected. These countries can rest assured that we will continue to provide support to strengthen European security together with countries that share our values."
According to the UK Ministry of Defence, as part of the UK's NATO mission, multiple Typhoon fighter jets of the Royal Air Force have been stationed at the Amari Air Force Base in Estonia since March this year.

According to reports, when Russian military aircraft fly near Estonian airspace and NATO early warning aircraft and Estonian military believe they pose a threat, these "typhoon" fighter jets will take off and monitor these Russian military aircraft.
This batch of British Typhoon fighter jets will be stationed in Estonia until August, after which they will be rotated and replaced by Spanish Air Force fighter jets.
According to reports, during their deployment to Estonia, these British "Typhoon" fighter jets also participated in several major exercises, one of which included the largest "Air Sentinel-23" multinational air force exercise held by NATO since the end of the Cold War.
