On July 5th, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao presided over a roundtable meeting for foreign-funded enterprises in the pharmaceutical industry, listening to the business situation, problem demands, and opinions and suggestions of foreign-funded enterprises in China. Representatives from 12 companies, including General Electric Medical, Novo Nordisk, Bayer, Merck, Roche, AstraZeneca, Sanofi, Takeda, and Pfizer, attended the meeting.
It is understood that in 2020, the Ministry of Commerce established a special team for key foreign investment projects under the coordination service mechanism for foreign trade and foreign investment.
