"Intelligent Asian Games" enhances the viewing experience
Hangzhou is ready
As one of the organizing concepts of the Hangzhou Asian Games, "intelligence" runs through the entire preparation process of the Hangzhou Asian Games. With the support of technologies such as 5G, Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence, "intelligence" is not only reflected in the process of intelligent competition organizing, but also in providing viewers with a more comfortable and convenient viewing experience.
In 2019, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, in collaboration with the DingTalk team, created the integrated digital hosting platform for large-scale sports events called "Asian Games DingTalk". This platform integrates online communication, personnel management, event training, protocol management, traffic organization, medical first aid, venue supervision and other service functions. At the same time, it is connected to the event comprehensive command platform and various specialized command platforms, achieving cross regional, cross departmental, and cross level event preparation and command coordination in various stages of the Asian Games preparation. As the preparations for the Asian Games enter the sprint stage, "Asian Games DingTalk" has integrated 293 digital applications and accumulated nearly 10000 digital asset files. In July, the peak message volume exceeded 2.8 million, with a daily message sending volume of over 200000 and nearly 500 online conferences per day.
As a one-stop digital observation service platform launched by the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, "Intelligent Asian Games One Stop" is a typical application scenario of digital empowerment for the Asian Games. By utilizing technologies such as big data and blockchain, the "Intelligent Asian Games One Stop" can provide a comprehensive intelligent service of "food, accommodation, transportation, tickets, travel, and shopping" for the spectators. The platform also launched the "Asian Games Digital Torchbearer" and carried out online torch relay activities, expanding the real-world Asian Games torch relay to the digital world, allowing more people to break through time and space limitations and directly participate in the activities of the Asian Games, becoming carriers of the Asian Games spirit.
The intelligent competition venues are also a carrier for guests from various countries to experience the intelligent characteristics of the Hangzhou Asian Games. More than ten venues, including Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium and Huanglong Sports Center, have been equipped with "smart brains".
At the Asian Games Intelligence Management Center in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, it is possible to achieve "strategic planning and victory thousands of miles away". From the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium to the Olympic Sports Center Tennis Center, from the main building and its supporting facilities to the instrument panel inside the venue, all equipment in the venue is clearly visible through digital twin technology 3D modeling. By combining IoT sensing technology, the person in charge can monitor the operation of various indicators in the venue at any time.
The Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium has achieved intelligent operation with the support of technology, and multiple platforms ensure the smooth operation of events. The "Online Event" command platform helps to improve the modernization level of major event preparation; The Shuzhi Meteorological Platform utilizes "hundred meter level, minute level" forecasting technology and multi band radar short-term monitoring and early warning technology to enhance the accurate meteorological forecasting ability of key areas of the competition; The intelligent medical emergency support system efficiently responds to sudden medical emergencies during the competition period.
In the information center computer room of Huanglong Sports Center, a super large high-definition screen with an area of about 25 square meters clearly displays the operation status of the entire venue. The venue has created the first three-dimensional intelligent management system in China that integrates venue operation, operation, and event support in a three-dimensional scene - the Huanglong Command Center. Through the platform, managers can collect real-time data on energy consumption, real-time status, pedestrian flow, vehicle flow, and other aspects of the entire center, timely grasp various indicators about the venue, and achieve centralized operation and maintenance of more than 5000 front-end devices and systems in 19 categories, as well as collaborative management of equipment and supervision.
At the Asian Games Equestrian Center in Tonglu County, the "Asian Games Equestrian Intelligent System" has established a comprehensive digital record of horses, digitizing data such as horse health status, quarantine sampling, disinfection and treatment of stables, feed and forage inventory, and usage, providing information support for horse services.
One of the venues for the Asian Games football group matches, Wenzhou Sports Center Stadium, is equipped with 18 sensors below the lawn. These sensors can collect and analyze data on the temperature, humidity, pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium content, and even the surface light intensity of the lawn, achieving scientific maintenance of the lawn.
The application of intelligent technology is not only within the venue, but also outside the venue. In the Baseball Future Community of Shaoxing City, the first autonomous bus dedicated line in Zhejiang Province has entered normal operation. The autonomous minibus that integrates elements of the Asian Games adopts L4 level autonomous driving technology, utilizes AI artificial intelligence and 5G networks, and cooperates with multiple sensors to intelligently respond to various urban scenarios such as vehicle merging and overtaking. During the Asian Games, autonomous minibuses will serve as a distinctive mode of transportation, providing shuttle services and effectively improving the efficiency of operations around venues.
