Injecting Youth Energy into the Construction of an Aviation Power (Warm News and Hot Review) Fuel | Rocket | Aviation
[Character] Wang Yaoxuan, Commander of Rocket Fuel Injection System at Xichang Satellite Launch Center
On May 17th of this year, a rocket carrying the first backup satellite of the high-density network of the Beidou-3 project was successfully launched. In this mission, Wang Yaoxuan, the commander of the 90s generation of the Rocket Fuel Refueling Team at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, completed her 90th rocket fuel refueling mission. Over the past 7 years of work, Wang Yaoxuan and his team have successfully completed every rocket refueling mission at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, guarding Chinese satellites flying into space one by one.

Rocket fuel provides a continuous source of power for rocket launch, and refueling is a crucial procedure before rocket launch. "We inject blood into the rocket, we give wings to the rocket..." This is the team song of the fuel refueling team at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, vividly reflecting the importance of fuel refueling work.
Only by practicing solid skills can one bravely shoulder heavy burdens. The fuel refueling work is extremely difficult. When refueling, team members not only need to ensure the high cleanliness of the fuel, but also ensure the safety and accuracy of fuel transportation. True kung fu is achieved through hard practice, while hard kung fu is achieved through hard grinding. Read and study the principles of drawing paper over and over again, and become familiar with the annotated flowchart; Practice disassembling and assembling pipelines, tightening hundreds of bolts a day; Under the scorching sun, Wang Yaoxuan and her team practiced with equipment weighing dozens of pounds and sweat filling their pants... They practiced day after day, repeatedly honing their skills and turning every move into muscle memory, ensuring the safety of each task.
Urgent and difficult situations require a renewed sense of responsibility. Refueling a rocket can be extremely dangerous, but it must be done to the fullest. Rocket fuel is flammable and explosive, and also has strong corrosiveness and toxicity. From injection, reflux, hose connection, full system gas detection to withdrawal after the mission is completed, any carelessness in any link may cause catastrophic consequences, but the refueling team did not retreat. Wang Yaoxuan said, "No matter how dangerous the job is, someone must do it." In 2020, a satellite discovered a technical problem during pre launch testing, requiring over 400 tons of fuel to be leaked before restarting the launch mission. Faced with this unprecedented test, Wang Yaoxuan and her team repeatedly studied for three consecutive days, conducted eight simulation exercises, and refined the venting plan to the minute level, precise to every action and every command. After more than 20 hours of hard work, they successfully vented fuel back into the storage tank, ensuring the successful launch of the satellite.
Working in such an environment all year round, both physically and mentally, faces unimaginable pressure, but the cheering team members have no complaints. "It is a great honor to contribute to the aerospace industry in such an important position." This was Wang Yaoxuan's choice and also the voice of the team members. This group of young astronauts, with an average age of less than 27 years old, braved the "wind and clouds", lifted the "Beidou", and supported the "Chang'e", creating success time and time again with their excellent strength, becoming the gold medal team for lifting rockets, fully demonstrating the responsibility of young people. No matter what position or position one is in, as long as they persistently strive and run towards their dreams, youth can shine and grow into talents.
I believe that in the continuous struggle of generations of young people, the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will soon become a reality.
