Increasing sanctions against China... The United States seriously violates international law and exaggerates the principle of "China threat" | International | Sovereignty | International law | Intervention | Institutions | The United States | China
For a period of time, the United States has been pursuing a wrong policy towards China due to its erroneous perception of China, continuously escalating attacks, smearing, containing and suppressing China, exaggerating the "China threat", increasing sanctions against China, recklessly interfering in China's internal affairs, and advocating for erroneous rhetoric such as "economic coercion" and "risk reduction". A series of actions by the United States seriously violate international law.
The US is wantonly attacking the Chinese system, infringing on China's right to freely choose its own system, and seriously violating the principle of national sovereignty and equality. The United States advocates Western style democracy and human rights as universal values, and the free market as a panacea, striving to smear China's political party system, democratic system, and economic system. These words and actions are a replica of the theory of Western civilization superiority, essentially aimed at maintaining the international order dominated by Western countries and attempting to negate the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. The United Nations Charter clearly stipulates that all countries have sovereign equality. In 1970, the Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Cooperation among States in accordance with the United Nations Charter, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, further confirmed that "every country has the right to freely choose and develop its political, social, economic and cultural systems.". China adheres to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the United States has no right to voice its opinions!
The United States supports separatist forces, embellishes interference, interferes in China's internal affairs, and seriously violates the principle of non-interference in domestic affairs.According to the Declaration on the Protection of Independence and Sovereignty in the Internal Affairs of States, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1965, and the Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Cooperation among States in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations in 1970, no country or group of countries has the right to directly or indirectly interfere in the internal or foreign affairs of other countries for any reason, and illegal interference includes not only military intervention, but also all forms of intervention or attempt to threaten the personality or political, economic, and cultural elements of a country. Taiwan, Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Xizang are all part of China. The relevant affairs belong to China's internal affairs, and the United States has no right to interfere!
The United States uses economic hegemony to contain and suppress China, undermines friendly cooperation between countries, and seriously violates the principles of international cooperation. The United States attempts to curb China's development through decoupling and chain breaking, creating various anti China circles, imposing tariffs on Chinese goods, abusing export control measures, illegally sanctioning Chinese companies, and restricting and suppressing Chinese companies from investing in the United States. Recently, the United States has changed its rhetoric and advocated for "de risk", but essentially it is gathering allies to promote "de Sinicization". The Charter of the United Nations and the Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning the Establishment of Friendly Relations and Cooperation among States in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations both emphasize the development of friendly and cooperative relations among nations, and member states should fulfill their Charter obligations in good faith and cooperate with each other in all aspects of international relations. The US side's artificial interference and disruption of normal international economic and trade investment cooperation, which harms the overall interests of the international community, will inevitably backfire on itself!
Sovereign equality of states is the foundation of international law and order, an international legal obligation that all countries must abide by, and also the "golden rule" of communication between nations. We advise the United States to change its hegemonic tendencies, stop attacking the systems of other countries, respect the sovereignty and equal status of developing countries, including China, and jointly build a world of lasting peace, universal security, common prosperity, openness, inclusiveness, cleanliness, and beauty.
