A netizen released a message claiming that a lawyer born in the 1990s lost contact after visiting rural areas. The above online post quoted an "informant" as saying that on the afternoon of August 12th, Yu had a dispute with several villagers in Yangxing Township, causing many pedestrians to watch. The reason was that several villagers had occupied Huang Laohan's land, and the discussion of the conflict was quite intense.
The online post described that the villagers who had a dispute took out a large sack from the old man's house before leaving. "Huang, the old man, stumbled and stopped the troublemakers from leaving... Sitting on the ground, constantly gesturing at the large sack held by one troublemaker." The post also attached photos of Yu himself and several sacks.
The above online post also indicates that Yu's contact person has reported to the police.
On the afternoon of August 14th, Top News contacted Yu Qingqing, who refuted the rumors and claimed that all information about her kidnapping online was fabricated. "I don't know why the internet is fermenting like this, I just posted videos online to help the elderly," she said

Yu Qingqing told Top News reporters that she visited Liujiagedong Village on August 8th and returned to Chengdu on August 10th. After resting for two days, she released a video of visiting Liujiagedong Village on August 12th. She personally received inquiries from the local police and her relatives and friends on the morning of August 14th, and only then did she learn about her "loss of contact" online.
Top News reporters noticed that Yu Qingqing has over 100000 fans on short video platforms and posts videos promoting legal knowledge on a daily basis. She also broadcasts live every day, "I even livestreamed yesterday afternoon."

Yu Qingqing told Top News reporters that she is currently working at the Chengdu branch of Beijing Yingke Law Firm. On the afternoon of August 14th, Top News reporters also verified with the firm that she is indeed a lawyer.
Yu Qingqing also responded to some netizens who raised suspicions of hype. She replied to reporters that she did not participate in the rumor making and did not know the publisher. "I posted a video showing me going to Taiyuan, Shanxi. The rumor was written about a certain township in Taiyuan, Shanxi, but I had never been there. I went to Liujiagedong Village in Dai County, but I did not post this information online, so the rumor maker was unaware of this information, including my height and weight. It does not match my actual situation."
