The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security stated that employers should establish a sound system for heatstroke prevention and cooling, strengthen physical health checks for workers, adjust working hours reasonably, scientifically determine labor intensity, and comprehensively improve working conditions.

The human resources and social security department of Shandong Province has issued regulations requiring that if the daily maximum temperature reaches 40 ℃ or above, outdoor operations should be stopped on the same day; The maximum daily temperature reaches between 37 ℃ and 40 ℃, and outdoor work shall not exceed 5 hours throughout the day. Outdoor work shall be suspended from 11 to 16 o'clock.
