Hefei Returns to the Top 20 Nationwide
Over 100 billion yuan in 10 cities
In terms of economic output, Hefei continues to lead the province, with an economic output of 584.18 billion yuan, making it the only city in Anhui province to exceed 500 billion yuan.
From a national perspective, Hefei has returned to the top 20 urban economies in China, ranking 19th among all cities in the country, up 2 places from 2022.
This is the most eye-catching area in the "trillion club" city, where exciting performances of chasing each other are performed every year.
Speaking of Anhui Province, Wuhu ranks second with a total economic output of 232.297 billion yuan; Chuzhou firmly ranks third, reaching 193.81 billion yuan; Fuyang ranks fourth with 165.08 billion yuan; These are four cities in the province with an economic total of over 150 billion yuan in the first half of the year.
Anqing ranks fifth with 145.233 billion yuan. Ma'anshan ranks sixth with 133.273 billion yuan. Suzhou ranks seventh with 117.24 billion yuan. Bozhou ranks eighth with a total of 111.62 billion yuan. Chizhou leads, Chuzhou closely follows, and Bozhou ranks third
From the perspective of economic growth rate, Chizhou ranks first in the province with a growth rate of 7.9%; Chuzhou ranks second with a growth rate of 7.6%. Bozhou ranks third with a growth rate of 7.3%, making it the only three cities in the province with a growth rate exceeding 7%.
Why can these three cities exceed 7%?
After reviewing the economic data of the three cities, it was found that the main benefit was the rapid growth of the secondary and tertiary industries.
In the first half of the year, the growth rate of secondary industry in all three cities exceeded the province's growth rate of 6.5%. Specifically, Chuzhou ranks first in the province, with a secondary industry growth rate of 9.6%,; Bozhou ranks second at 8.6%; Chizhou ranks third at 8.3%.
In terms of tertiary industry, Chizhou ranks first in the province with a growth rate of 7.9%, while Bozhou ranks fourth with a growth rate of 7.5%. The added value of the tertiary industry in Chuzhou has reached 81.51 billion yuan, ranking fourth in the province.
After Chizhou, Chuzhou, and Bozhou, Xuancheng ranks fourth with an economic growth rate of 6.7%; Lu'an and Mount Huangshan ranked fifth, with the same growth rate of 6.6%. These six cities have all outperformed the province's growth rate of 6.1%.
Compared with the national economic growth rate of 5.5% in the first half of the year, 11 cities in Anhui have a faster growth rate than the whole country. These 11 cities are Chizhou, Chuzhou, Bozhou, Xuancheng, Lu'an, Mount Huangshan, Hefei, Huainan, Tongling, Fuyang and Suzhou.
