Tan Xiaolin, male, Han nationality, was born in December 1955 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, with an on-the-job postgraduate degree. He started working in May 1976 and joined the CPC in May 1985.
From February 1981 to August 2001, he served as a cadre, deputy section chief, and comprehensive section chief of the Secretary Department of the Ganzhou Administration Office, deputy director of the Ganzhou Regional Reform Commission, deputy secretary and county chief of the Nankang County Committee, deputy secretary and mayor of the Nankang City Committee, and secretary of the Ganxian County Committee;
