Hangzhou is ready
Hangzhou, August 29th (Xinhua) - On August 29th, Hangzhou launched comprehensive exercises such as the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games and the "one-day competition time", which lasted for two days.
During the drill, the digital dedicated lanes for the Asian Games on 24 roads in Hangzhou will be activated, and temporary traffic management measures will be taken for some roads in different times and sections. During the competition, with the help of the Asian Games digital dedicated lane control system, the Hangzhou Public Security Traffic Police Department can monitor the real-time traffic situation of vehicles on different road sections and dynamically control the activation status of dedicated lanes.
The use of digital dedicated lanes for the Asian Games not only ensures priority and safe traffic for Asian Games vehicles, but also reduces the impact on residents' daily travel and maximizes the utilization of road resources. During the drill, the relevant roads were paved with "Asian Games only" ground stickers. Electronic screens are installed above or on the side of the road section to inform the activation status of dedicated lanes through text prompts.
In order to systematically verify the overall operation of various functional areas in Hangzhou Asian Games Village and ensure efficient and orderly operation during the competition, the three villages in Hangzhou Asian Games Village conducted full process and full element practical exercises. Based on the estimated scale of the competition, customer group arrivals, daily operations, opening ceremony assembly, and one-day comprehensive drills during the competition were carried out for the athlete village, technical officer village, and media village. It is understood that more than 6200 people participated in this drill, including 3600 people from the Athlete Village, 1000 people from the Technical Officer Village, and 1600 people from the Media Village.
During the comprehensive exercise, various Asian Games venues also simulated multiple operational processes such as arrival and departure, event support, security, and awards, in order to improve the overall operational level and emergency response capabilities.
