On August 5 of the same year, this court filed a public prosecution with the Wenshang County Court, and on April 25, 2023, the court withdrew the prosecution.

The reporter learned from the decision not to sue that on October 24, 2021, at around 19:00, Liu Cunjin had a conflict with Yang and others who were dining at a restaurant due to trivial matters. Yang and others first started beating Liu Cunjin and others. After being dissuaded by others, Yang and others continued to fight against Liu, and Liu Cunjin counterattacked, causing Yang to have bilateral nasal bone fractures. The prosecution believes that Liu Cunjin has no criminal facts and has decided not to prosecute him.

According to the previous indictment, on the day of the incident, Liu Cunjin was eating at a restaurant when he was stopped by Yang and others while hugging the owner's wife. Later, the two sides had an argument and fought, resulting in Yang's bilateral nasal bone fractures. After assessment, the injury was classified as minor injury level 2, while Liu Cunjin suffered minor injuries.

Liu Cunjin insisted that he did not engage in any indecent behavior that night, nor did he harm the other party. On August 19th, he stated in an interview with reporters that he had been detained for nearly half a year due to this matter. Although he has now obtained his innocence, he hopes to receive compensation.

Liu Cunjin: I was beaten to the point where my head was bleeding and my head was broken. There were obvious scars on my arms and body, and my stomach also felt swollen after being kicked. I only know that one of them had a broken head, but it's definitely not me who caused it. Maybe they accidentally injured themselves when they hit me.

Liu Cunjin: Yes, I did. I had one trial in February this year on the charge of intentional injury. The trial lasted for two consecutive days without a verdict. After the trial, the prosecutor's office suspended the case and returned it for supplementary investigation.

I originally planned to have another trial on April 27th, but the court notified me on April 26th that the prosecutor's office had withdrawn the case. After about a month, the prosecutor's office issued a non prosecution decision.
