According to Pengpai News, on August 22nd, a news circulating online showed that Wang Zhenbin, an employee of the Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau of Southern Power Grid, was reported by his wife in real name to have paid 300000 yuan in bribes to join the company and abandoned his sick wife and daughter. In the afternoon of the same day, staff from Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau replied to Pengpai News. Currently, they have paid attention to this matter, and there are some false information transmitted online. Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau has reported to the police.
Pengpai News noticed that on August 22nd, three WeChat group chat screenshots were circulating online. One of the photos shows a woman sending a message to a community owner stating that her husband, Wang Zhenbin, is an ordinary employee of Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau. "She came in as a regular employee with an annual income of over 500000 yuan. My family has two properties in Guangzhou, and we live a comfortable life. Our family is from the upper class, and we can eat delicious food and drink spicy food every day." Someone below reminded the woman, "Did you send the wrong message?" The woman replied, "If you can't stand it, you can share it. I'm just showing off my wealth.".
Another screenshot shows a woman posting a message saying, "If you narrow me down and lose my value, you want to kick me away." The woman is suspected of having a conflict with her husband, and her WeChat avatar is highly similar to the one of the wealthy woman mentioned above.
The third chat screenshot shows that Wang Zhenbin from the Regulations Department of Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau was reported by his wife in real name. The report stated that Wang Zhenbin graduated in 2009 and asked his distant relative Dong, who was then the director of the medical department of Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau, to help him join the company. Finally, Wang Zhenbin bribed 300000 yuan, of which 250000 was given to the then director of Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau and 50000 was given to Dong, and successfully joined Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau. The report also stated that Wang Zhenbin had abandoned his sick wife and young daughter.
