Recently, six departments including the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the China Association for Science and Technology announced to the whole society the advanced deeds of the "Most Beautiful Science and Technology Workers" in 2022. Ten scientific and technological workers from different fields, including Liu Zhongmin, Chen Zhang, and Ke Weidong, from the front line of scientific research and production, were awarded this honor. They are based on different job positions, promoting and practicing the spirit of "patriotism, innovation, pragmatism, dedication, collaboration, and education" as scientists. With responsibility, perseverance, and responsibility, they have written stories of innovation and dedication, vividly outlining the spiritual outlook of science and technology workers in the new era. As role models for technology workers in the new era, their stories inspire them to stay grounded and write their papers on the land, contributing their efforts to the great cause of national rejuvenation.

The spirit of scientists is a precious spiritual wealth accumulated by scientific and technological workers in long-term scientific practice, and is an important component of the century long spiritual lineage of our party.

However, no matter how the historical background changes, the core of promoting the spirit of scientists remains unchanged, which is to always put people first and showcase the people's character. Ma Yitong, Director of the Cardiovascular Center at Xinjiang Medical University, took the lead in introducing and promoting cardiovascular intervention diagnosis and treatment technology in Xinjiang, achieving the goal of "not leaving Xinjiang for difficult and critical situations"; Li Guike, Honorary Director of the Disease Prevention and Control Center in Eryuan County, Yunnan, rooted in the isolated leprosy village, has found and introduced a leprosy combined chemotherapy program for patients; Tang Limei, an explorer of extreme environmental science on Earth, has dived into the deep sea and entered Antarctica. Now, she focuses on providing science education to children in border areas and mountains. They demonstrated through practical actions that innovation relies on the people, innovation is for the people, and we must enable everyone to share the fruits of reform and innovation.

The "most beautiful technology workers" uphold the spirit of seeking truth and rigorous academic research, as well as the collaborative spirit of gathering intelligence and tackling problems, and unity and cooperation. They have climbed mountains and overcome obstacles, and on the path of technological self-reliance and self-improvement, they have walked out of the style of technology workers in the new era.
