The fundamental issue of education is what kind of people to cultivate, how to cultivate them, and for whom to cultivate them.

They should be good young people in the new era who have ideals, dare to take responsibility, can endure hardship, and are willing to work hard.

Guide students to establish firm ideals and beliefs. A firm ideal and belief have always been a powerful spiritual pillar and source of strength for our party to overcome all difficulties and obstacles. College students are the main and new force of young talents, the future of the country and the hope of the nation, and an important force in realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the Chinese Dream. During the crucial stage of student growth, which is the "jointing and booting stage", universities bear the important task of guiding students' thinking. They should provide good ideological and political courses to help young students fasten the "first button" of their lives. Let students know why to learn, firmly establish the lofty ideal of communism and the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and bravely shoulder the responsibility of the times; Clearly define "how" to do it, consciously arm the mind with the Party's innovative theory, guide practice, and strive to achieve the best results on the track of youth.Building a strong linkage and educational community, closely integrating the school's ideological and political small classroom with the off campus social large classroom, and efficiently connecting them. Combining in class and out of class, on campus and off campus, online and offline, promoting the construction of "big ideological and political courses", improving the affinity and pertinence of ideological and political education, allowing students to love listening and learning, understand and learn, and feel the inspiration of faith, guidance of direction, strength of progress, and confidence in victory in the theoretical and practical ideological and political courses.

Our party has always adhered to the value pursuit of putting the people at the center and the responsibility of governing for the people, and has always adhered to the fundamental value orientation of putting the people first.We should help students to deeply understand that the people's position is the fundamental political position of the CPC, and it is a remarkable symbol that the Marxist party is different from other parties; Enable college students to firmly establish the value concept of putting the people first, understand who to trust, for whom, and rely on whom, and stand firm in value choices.
