Traveling through many places and wandering aimlessly
Ma Xiaolin told us about their tortuous experiences:
In 1937, in order to avoid being plundered by the Japanese invaders, cultural relics such as the Lotus Crane Square Pot were urgently transported to Wuhan;
In 1938, amidst the smoke and flames of war, this batch of cultural relics was transported to Chongqing again;
In 1950, representatives from the Henan Provincial Cultural Heritage Bureau and the Ministry of Culture went to Chongqing together to receive Henan's preserved Chongqing artifacts;
Subsequently, a lotus and crane square pot was transferred to Beijing for preservation at the Palace Museum in Beijing, while another one was collected at the Henan Museum, becoming the "treasure of the Henan Museum"
At this point, after experiencing wars and twists and turns, the national treasure was located in Beijing and Henan.
