According to the German magazine Der Spiegel on August 4th, the German national railway operator will have to spend up to 400 million euros to replace all the equipment provided by Chinese technology giant Huawei in its infrastructure.
According to internal documents cited in the report, if the German government decides to ban Huawei equipment in the short term, some projects of state-owned Deutsche Bahn will be delayed by 5 to 6 years.
This is Huawei's exhibition area at the World Mobile Congress, which was filmed in Barcelona, Spain on February 27th.

The German government is currently evaluating whether certain devices from Huawei and ZTE should be prohibited from entering their telecommunications networks.
The report states that Deutsche Bahn is currently seeking to digitize its business.
