German media: Putin accepts Erdogan's invitation to visit Türkiye | Putin
According to Deutsche Presse-Agentur, Moscow, on June 15, Russian President Putin accepted the invitation of Turkish President Erdogan and planned to visit Türkiye.
According to Interfax News Agency, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov said on the 15th that "the President of Türkiye has confirmed his invitation to our President to visit Türkiye." He added that the visit plan is in progress, but the specific date has not yet been determined.
The report points out that the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Putin, accusing him of ordering an unfounded war against Ukraine. Due to South Africa's recognition of the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, this Russian leader is considered unlikely to attend the annual BRICS summit held in Johannesburg this summer.
