German media: Investigation shows that multiple pieces of evidence in the "Nord Stream" pipeline explosion case point to Ukraine
On the 25th local time, German television station 2 and Der Spiegel quoted security sources as saying that increasing evidence suggests that the perpetrator associated with Ukraine may be the mastermind behind the attack on the Nord Stream pipeline.
The investigators believe that the operation to blow up the Beixi pipeline was carried out with the assistance of the Andromeda yacht. The current focus of the investigation is still on the six agents on board the ship. It is reported that the special agent team was stationed in Ukraine before and after the explosion.
Insiders familiar with the investigation believe that the clues pointing to Ukraine are quite convincing. The current investigation results clearly point to Ukraine, and there is no conclusive evidence to prove that the suspect is from Russia.
At the end of September 2022, Russia's main gas pipeline in Europe, Nord Stream 1, and the unused Nord Stream 2 pipeline were found to have four leakage points in the waters near Sweden and Denmark. The Swedish measurement station detected a strong underwater explosion in the sea area where a pipeline leak occurred. It is widely believed that this incident was a deliberate act of sabotage. On February 8th this year, renowned American investigative journalist Hersh wrote that the North Stream pipeline was secretly damaged by US intelligence agencies and the US military. The US government denies this claim. Russia has repeatedly called for a joint investigation, but it has been rejected by Western countries.
