Hangzhou, August 4th (Xinhua) - On the 50th countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Games, the Fuxing intelligent high-speed train for the Asian Games welcomed its first test ride at Hangzhou West Station.

It is reported that the train was purchased by Zhejiang Transportation Group and is an 8-car, 4-motor, and 4-trailer power distributed high-speed train. It will serve as a transportation hub during the competition, connecting Hangzhou with five Asian Games co host cities, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou.
"The train has applied a series of the latest technologies of China's high-speed rail, especially targeting the terrain characteristics of the hilly and mountainous areas in Zhejiang. We have collaborated with our technical team and other parties to determine a customized technological innovation plan, which effectively alleviates the bumpy feeling during the train's operation." Wang Xingchen, Deputy General Manager of the Rail Transit Management Department of Zhejiang Transportation Group, introduced that the automatic adjustment system for air pressure and temperature inside the train can effectively alleviate discomfort caused by changes in air pressure, and the seats are adjusted based on ergonomics to improve riding comfort.

In addition, the carriage has achieved full coverage of 5G+WiFi networks, and the train has specially set up accessible carriages equipped with facilities such as accessible toilets and wheelchair placement areas, making it convenient for passengers with limited mobility to travel.
Mao Zuhong, the head of the passenger service department of Hangzhou Passenger Transport Section, introduced: "In terms of passenger service, we have selected 44 train attendants with excellent business skills and strong comprehensive qualities from over a thousand people to build an Asian Games service special class. They will conduct a three-month training in language, passenger knowledge, emergency response, and other aspects. They will be involved in the high-speed rail crew work of the Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games."
