On July 24th, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee held a meeting to analyze and study the current economic situation and deploy economic work for the second half of the year, emphasizing the need to increase efforts to ensure people's livelihoods and comprehensively consider stabilizing employment to a strategic level. This fully reflects the high attention that the Party Central Committee attaches to the issue of employment. We must recognize the importance of stabilizing employment from a strategic perspective and effectively grasp this top priority of people's livelihood.

Their professional supply capacity does not match the employment demand of the relatively slow developing modern industrial system, resulting in structural employment difficulties and a shortage of some talents, increasing the pressure on the overall employment situation.
Economic recovery is a process of wave like development and tortuous progress, and the employment situation will also fluctuate accordingly. The overall pressure and structural problems of employment in China still exist, with difficulties for young people in finding jobs and recruitment in some industries coexisting. Based on the trend of technological development and national strategic needs, we will strengthen the forward-looking, strategic, and systematic layout of basic research, continuously strengthen the team of leading scientific and technological talents and first-class innovation teams, in order to cope with fierce international competition and external challenges. Accelerate the adjustment of disciplines and majors in higher education, enhance the alignment between student employment needs and industry requirements, and reduce the employment pressure caused by the mismatch between supply and demand. Accelerate the implementation of the relevant policies of the Party Central Committee on restructuring and promoting reform, reduce various institutional obstacles, better coordinate the effective improvement of quality and reasonable growth of quantity, expand employment demand, increase employment income, and enhance the driving force of domestic consumption demand. Accelerate the optimization of employment structure and improve the quality of training, promote better integration of effective markets and promising governments. Government employment guidance should focus on solving universal problems and medium - to long-term needs. In terms of policy resources and fund utilization, more rewards and subsidies should be used to fully attract and mobilize the flexibility advantages of society and business entities, and improve the quality and level of public employment services.
