In 2022, Class I water quality sea areas accounted for 97.4% of the jurisdictional sea area and remained stable overall.
The proportion of Class I and Class II water quality areas in nearshore waters was 81.9%, an increase of 0.6 percentage points year-on-year.
The overall health status of the marine ecosystem has improved, and the "unhealthy" state has been continuously eliminated since 2021.
