The Gobi Desert is vast, the mountains and rivers are turbulent, and the Silk Road runs through the entire territory of Gansu. Along the ancient Silk Road that has lasted for thousands of years, it gathers the grandeur and charm of beautiful mountains and rivers, carrying the glory and dreams of Chinese civilization, interpreting the poetry and distant exchanges between the East and the West, and moving forward along the "Ruyi" Gansu.
Flying in Dunhuang, the sound of camel bells. In Dunhuang, the intersection of the four major civilizations, "blocking camels" has become a hot topic on the internet this summer. With the arrival of summer, the number of local tourists is also constantly increasing. At the Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Scenic Area, tourists ride camels along the foot of Mingsha Mountain, and the scene is very spectacular. As of July 13th, the six major scenic spots in Dunhuang City, including Mogao Caves and Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring, have received over 2.69 million tourists, an increase of 40.47% compared to 2019 and 347.54% compared to 2022.
Gansu, located at the intersection of the three major plateaus, encompasses all terrain and landforms except for the ocean and islands, resembling a "jade ruyi" embedded in the northwest of our country. The organic integration of historical relics and natural wonders is the most attractive place in Ruyi Gansu. One end is connected with splendid history, the other end is connected with poetry and the distance, in Gansu, one step for thousands of miles, one eye for thousands of years!

In Gansu, there is a popular horse on the internet - the cultural and creative "Green Horse" from the Gansu Provincial Museum.
Its prototype is the "Treasure of the Gansu Provincial Museum" - Copper Running Horse, also known as "Horse Treading on Flying Swallows". It was unearthed in the Leitai Han Tomb in Wuwei City, Gansu Province in the 1960s and was designated as a symbol of Chinese tourism in 1983.
The green furry horse grinned with a cute and silly image, and the "ugly and cute" cultural and creative "Green Horse" was highly praised by many young people. Its design team is a group of young "90s generation" who have turned originally serious cultural relics into cute, more lively ones, bringing people closer to cultural relics.
According to the staff of the Cultural and Creative Center of Gansu Provincial Museum, designers will consult a large amount of literature and related documentaries when developing cultural and creative products. At the same time, they will also observe and experience on-site, and seek inspiration by repeatedly listening to the narrator explain the story of cultural relics.
"Today we are at the Gansu Provincial Museum, specifically for drinking 'Green Horse' coffee. We really like this kind of creativity, which makes a cup of coffee have a story." College students from a university in Lanzhou took photos and checked in at a cultural and creative coffee shop, enjoying their leisure time.
The Gansu Provincial Museum Cultural and Creative Center, leveraging the "Green Horse" concept, has launched a series of beautiful, delicious, and fun cultural and creative products, including the Green Horse Kite, Green Horse Emblem, Copper Benma Cultural and Creative Coffee, and Copper Benma Cultural and Creative Ice Cream, starting from the concept of "Big Cultural and Creative". The launch of the "Shenma" series allows more people to get to know and enter Gansu through a cultural and creative product. It is understood that since 2015, the Gansu Provincial Museum has launched over 1000 cultural and creative products.
Similarly, in Dunhuang, there is a wide variety of cultural and creative products based on Mogao Caves murals, which is overwhelming, and every cultural and creative store is bustling with people. The vivid and exquisite patterns of seaweed pits, nine colored deer, three eared rabbits, and other elements are widely used in various cultural and creative products. People from all over the world bring their beloved "Dunhuang" back to their hometowns here.

"Oh my, it's on fire, call 119 to call the police..." Amidst the rapid sound of drums and yellow lights, a shadow puppetry called "Flames Blow Away" is taking place amidst the singing and sighing vocals. The Qingyang Fire Rescue Brigade, relying on the representative intangible cultural heritage project of Gansu Province - Huanxian Daoqing Shadow Puppetry, has innovated the form of fire propaganda by using lights to convey stories and tell safety stories.
It is understood that the Huanxian Daoqing Shadow Play, along with the Hua'er and Gesar projects, has been selected as representative works of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity; 83 intangible cultural heritage projects in the province have been announced by the State Council as representative national intangible cultural heritage projects. In June of this year, the Gansu Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition and Sales and the Provincial Intangible Cultural and Creative Competition series were held in Dunhuang. This event has built a platform for communication and mutual learning among intangible cultural heritage individuals throughout the province. Through innovative design and effective integration with intangible cultural heritage, the activity promotes the revitalization and utilization of intangible cultural heritage, and enhances industrial upgrading and transformation.
"Through communication with students and teachers, I have learned many valuable skills and experiences, which are very beneficial for me to inherit intangible cultural heritage skills and do a good job in product design. It also allows us to present intangible cultural and creative products from a new perspective and in a more modern and youthful way." Zhang Lin, the manager of Wuer Jewelry in Gansu Province, gained a lot after participating in the event.
Watching classic plays has become a must-have during tourism check-in in Gansu. "The entire performance showcases the millennium long glory and cultural connotations of Dunhuang murals.
