At 1:20 pm on the 22nd, Liu Mouhao sent a message suspected of "last words" to his mother's WeChat. The family members contacted him many times to no avail. After driving from Zhengzhou to the school, they confirmed the news of the child's death.

For the matter, a staff member of Luoyang Institute of Technology responded to the Red Star News reporter said, "After Liu Mouhao fell from the building, the school immediately called 120 and 110, and finally after the forensic confirmed the death of the student, before pulling to the funeral home. The cause of the fall is still unclear, and everything has to wait for the conclusion of the police investigation."

According to the official website of Luoyang Institute of Technology, the school is a full-time general undergraduate college in Henan Province, with three campuses in Wangcheng, Kaiyuan and Jiudu.

The chat screenshot showed that after seeing the news, Liu Mouhao's mother called his WeChat phone at least 6 times, but it was never answered.

The family said that after seeing the news of Liu Mouhao, they tried to call him while driving urgently from Zhengzhou to Luoyang. It took almost an hour on the road. "During this period, a person who claimed to be a school teacher called us and asked us to go directly to the hotel to talk. We said we would go to school, see the children, see the dead and see the dead."

According to him, when the family members arrived at the scene of the incident, they only saw a pool of blood on the ground.
