Former US President Trump may face fourth criminal charge
According to Reuters local time on the 7th, local prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia have concluded an investigation into former US President Trump's attempt to overturn the results of Georgia's 2020 presidential election. The prosecution may soon launch a formal lawsuit against Trump. If Trump is prosecuted as a result, it will be his fourth criminal charge since March this year.
On August 3rd, Trump appeared in a federal court in Washington, D.C., pleading not guilty to criminal charges of attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. He was previously charged by federal and New York state prosecutors for the "Confidential Scandal" and "Sealing Fee" cases, respectively. To prevent violent incidents from occurring, law enforcement officers blocked roads near Fulton County Court on the 7th.
