Former Prime Minister of Pakistan to be arrested, "non bail" Pakistan | Committee | Prime Minister
According to Al Jazeera on July 24th, the Pakistan Election Commission has issued a non bail arrest warrant against former Prime Minister Imran Khan, which is the latest legal challenge facing the former Prime Minister.
The latest lawsuit was filed on the 24th, the same day Imran Khan was granted bail by the Supreme Court in another lawsuit. Since being dismissed from his position as Prime Minister in a vote of no confidence in parliament in April last year, Imran Khan has been sued in over 150 cases, including allegations of terrorism.
The report stated that the arrest warrant issued from Islamabad stated that Imran Khan disregarded the procedures of the election committee and did not appear before the committee despite receiving earlier notices and bail arrest warrants.

This 70 year old former prime minister has been accused of using "extreme language and contemptuous words and actions" towards the election committee.
The Election Commission has instructed law enforcement officers in the capital to arrest Imran Khan and bring him to the Election Commission on the 25th.
Shortly after the arrest warrant was issued, Imran Khan spoke to supporters on YouTube saying he was "ready to go to jail.".
