According to Agence France Presse on August 31, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated on August 31 that critics who accuse Ukraine of slow progress in its counterattack should "shut up".
According to reports, on the 31st, Kuleba attended the EU Foreign Ministers' Meeting in the central Spanish city of Toledo. He said in an interview during the meeting, "Criticizing the slow pace of the counterattack is equivalent to spitting in the face of Ukrainian soldiers who sacrificed their lives."
He also said, "I would advise all critics to shut up and come to Ukraine to personally liberate even one square centimeter of land."
