DP Eurasia, which owns the franchise rights of Damelo Pizza brand in Russia, Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia, said on Monday that it will file for bankruptcy for its Russian subsidiary. The company operates 142 Domino's pizza stores in Russia, making it the third largest pizza delivery company in Russia. Last December, DP Eurasia stated that it was evaluating its business in Russia.
On August 9, 2022, after entering the Italian market for 7 years, Domino's Pizza closed its last store in the Italian capital Rome. This American pizza chain brand has closed all 29 stores in Italy.
