According to relevant departments in Jingtai County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, at around 0:40 on August 10th, in the Machangshan area of Dashuiqian Village, Xiquan Town, Jingtai County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, 7 people suddenly encountered a flash flood in the wild, and 5 people were washed away and lost.
As of yesterday noon, 4 missing individuals have been found and confirmed dead. At 8:05 am this morning, after 36 hours of uninterrupted search and rescue, the last missing person was found but no vital signs were found, and the search and rescue work was completed.

According to local officials, among the 7 people, 6 were villagers of Xingquan Village in Xiquan Town and 1 was a villager of Luyang Village in Luyang Town. That night, they went to the mountains together to search for over 80 sheep in their homes and parked their vehicles in the river below the mountain. After the sudden rainstorm, seven people got into the car to take shelter from the rain. They accidentally encountered mountain torrents. The river rose sharply. One of the vehicles rushed onto the mudflat. Two people were successfully rescued. The other vehicle was involved in the mountain torrents. Five people lost contact.
